5th Turtle Evolution Symposium

Welcome to the 5th Turtle Evolution Symposium website

The Symposium on Turtle Evolution is a triennial meeting for discussions on every aspects about turtle evolution and systematics. This is the first time it is held in South America and the host committee is from three different Brazilian institutions: MN/UFRJ, UFV, and UFRPE.

The meeting will take place at the Museu Nacional of Rio de Janeiro, one of the oldest research institution of Brazil and former residence of the royal family during the Brazilian Imperial period.
